Case Township Community Center – Overview
In 2009, Case Township purchased the former Millersburg Elementary School and began an extensive effort to repurpose the building into what is now the Case Township Community Center. This transformation preserved an important piece of local history while creating a vibrant, multi‑use facility that serves as a central gathering place for residents of all ages. Today, the Community Center functions as a hub for recreation, public services, educational opportunities, and community events, reflecting the township’s commitment to maintaining accessible resources for the region.
The Case Township office is located within the Community Center in Suite #5, providing residents with convenient access to township services. The Township Clerk maintains regular office hours on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., offering assistance with records, permits, meeting information, and general township inquiries. This on‑site presence ensures that local government remains approachable, responsive, and closely connected to the community it serves.

Exercise Room
A fully equipped fitness space featuring:

A versatile gym area that includes:
- Basketball nets (basketballs available for use)
- Pickleball net
- Gymnastics/wrestling mats

Indoor Walking
Walking inside the community center is a popular activity, especially during the winter months when outdoor conditions are challenging.
Fees
Amenities are available to both residents and non‑residents at:
- $1.00 per person per day, or
- $12.00 per person per month
Playground
The grounds surrounding the community center feature a newly constructed playground, which has quickly become a favorite spot for local children. The playground is open to the public.
Facility Rentals
The following areas are available for rental by residents and non‑residents:
- Gym – $50.00 (does not include kitchen access)
- Cafeteria – $50.00 (includes kitchen access)
- Suite #3 – $35.00
Meeting Room
A meeting room is available at no cost to local, non‑profit organizations whose mission supports or enhances the community.
- Meetings must be open to the public
- May be held during normal business hours
- Reservations are first‑come, first‑served
- To reserve, contact the Clerk’s office or visit in person to add your meeting date to the calendar

The community center also houses the Millersburg branch of the Presque Isle District Library.
